About Me

I’ve always had a lot of ideas for books, movies, and tv shows, but never wrote anything down. Everything lives in my head. It took 15 years to get my first three books into words, I pray that my next project doesn’t take that long, HA!

As I’ve said a page or two ago, I am Corin Dively, romance author!

Hi! How are you? Doing fantastic, I hope! I’ll tell you a bit about me. I am married, with three littles ages 8, 6, and 5, they keep me pretty busy! Other than that, when I want to relax (lol) I’m a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania. I currently work in a Med/Surg Oncology unit and long term care as I have for most of my life. I was an LPN and a CNA before becoming an RN. So My writing includes a great deal of real life experiences at work, home and life in general.

Writing has always been a dream of mine. I often imagine myself in the credits of movies, or a book I wrote on a shelf, or I’d get great ideas for commercials and music videos but I don’t have an outlet, you know what I mean? I wish I could run up to any industry professional with just the idea. How neat would that be? “Hey Hallmark, look over here!” If only it was that easy. But hopefully, this is a good start.

Before I was ever in the medical field, I was having broadway dreams. After high school, I did what I was told and went to college. I majored in Theatre with a minor in English, (that’s what the degree would say if I graduated) I went for three years then ran out of money. Worked a few different jobs, found my calling as a CNA, and five years later had enough financial aid left for LPN school (trade school is where its at, IMHO)

I’m nowhere near where I wanted to be 18 years ago, but fate stuck me where I need to be.
